Matchmaking Sessions Open for the 2026 North Puget Sound Contracting Conference
19 Oct 2026
News, Update, Conference, Contracting
The North Puget Sound Contracting Conference is the region’s premier business-to-government contracting event, attracting prime contractors, agencies and businesses from across Washington over two days. All event sessions are tailored to provide attendees with practical knowledge, new connections and actionable strategies to help businesses compete for government contracts with greater confidence.
Matchmaking, or speed dating for businesses, returns this year to give companies a chance to sit down with prime contractors for 8-minute one-on-one conversations about available projects and capabilities needed. Attendees are notified when the meeting time is up and to move on to their next meeting.
These meetings are invaluable for both seasoned and new companies in government contracting to create connections and maintain awareness of needs, trends and opportunities.
To join matchmaking sessions, companies can register for a maximum of three time slots. An invitation to sign up for Matchmaking time slots has been sent to all registered attendees.
What to Expect: Matchmaking Instructions for Companies and Contractors
To ensure a smooth and productive experience, matchmaking will be based on the time slots signed up for. Please read the following instructions carefully:
For Companies:
When the invitation to sign up for matchmaking is sent, select a maximum of three meetings. If you select more than three, EASC will cut the extras from your schedule. This will allow more businesses to benefit from Matchmaking meetings.
Come prepared to engage with contractors/agencies scheduled in your time block(s). Do your research ahead of time.
Arrive on time and be ready with materials or questions to make the most of each meeting.
On the day of the event, check with the matchmaking facilitators to see if there are open time slots or ask to be added onto a waitlist. If you have specific needs or preferences (e.g., industry focus, certifications), please indicate them at that time to optimize your matches.
For Contractors:
You will be given a schedule of meetings. The schedule will be provided at your exhibitor booth. It will also be posted outside of the room designated for Matchmaking.
Please be punctual.
