For EASC's third quarter 2026 business climate survey, we asked: how is Washington's fiscal climate affecting your business?

We hope to capture how Washington State's evolving tax landscape and fiscal challenges are impacting local businesses and nonprofits. Your responses — on topics like recent tax changes, hiring and investment decisions, and overall climate confidence — directly informs EASC's advocacy with state and federal policymakers on behalf of Snohomish County's business community.

Our results from 40 business responders represents a snapshot in time about the current business climate. While the results aren't enough to draw scientific conclusions, the responses can offer a view into broader trends and possible topics of interest for our community.
