Coffee Chats - Increasing Access to Childcare with Federal Pandemic Recovery Dollars

Topic: We will be joined by representatives from the Snohomish County Office of Recovery and Resiliency to discuss the recent announcement of a $7.8 million investment of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) dollars to increase access to childcare, with a focus on children and families’ social-emotional development and affordability programs.
We will also hear from a representative from Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County, a licensed childcare provider where programs aim to reduce learning loss, help youth develop healthy lifestyles, and teach good character and citizenship.
