Topic: Research shows a consistent correlation between diverse leadership and stronger financial performance for companies. A McKinsey & Company study showed that companies in the top 25% for racial/ethnic and gender diversity were respectively 36% and 25% more likely to have superior financial returns. Yet, from 2015-20, only a third of the 1,000-plus large firms tracked in the McKinsey & Company study significantly improved. Others stalled or went backwards.

Business-case analyses also often fall short of showing how lack of DEI can become a strategic risk to the business, whether in terms of brand reputation, innovation, or employee engagement.

Join us as we discuss the ROI for businesses with diversity, equity and inclusion programs and where businesses should start in actionably incorporating DEI in the workplace.

Guest Speakers:

  • Andrea Caupain Sanderson, Chief Executive Officer of Byrd Barr Place & Co-founder of Black Future Co-op Fund
