Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) is proud to join the Washington State delegation at the 2025 Paris Air Show, taking place June 16–22 at Le Bourget Airport. As one of the world’s most influential aerospace exhibitions, the event presents a timely opportunity to strengthen Snohomish County’s role in shaping the future of global aerospace and manufacturing.

With 12 of the 22 Washington-based organizations in the delegation located in Snohomish County, our region is driving the state’s aerospace presence abroad. Participating companies from across the county reflect a diverse and globally competitive aerospace ecosystem.

Representing Snohomish County on a Global Stage

Daniel Tappana, Director of Economic Development at EASC, will represent the region throughout the event. He will engage with international aerospace manufacturers, suppliers and policymakers to build investment pipelines, elevate Snohomish County’s visibility, and shape future trade partnerships.

“In today’s shifting global landscape, the Paris Air Show gives us a critical opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders and policymakers,” says Tappana. “We build relationships, gain insight into supply chain realignments and make sure Snohomish County stays competitive and globally connected.”

The delegation will engage in high-level conversations around clean technology, automation, emerging defense applications and international market expansion — all areas in which Snohomish County is actively investing and evolving.

Strategic Priorities at the Paris Air Show

EASC’s participation is driven by a set of clear strategic goals:

  • Promote Snohomish County’s Aerospace Ecosystem Home to Boeing’s Everett facility and a dense concentration of advanced manufacturers, the region offers unparalleled workforce capacity, infrastructure, and innovation potential.
  • Attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) EASC aims to open new recruitment conversations and deepen trade relationships in advanced manufacturing, aerospace R&D, and clean tech.
  • Support Global Supply Chain Realignment With changing international dynamics, Snohomish County is positioned to absorb new supplier relationships and sustain long-term investment.
  • Align Local Strategy with Global Trends Attending the air show enables EASC to bring back insight that helps inform regional priorities in infrastructure, workforce development, and industry innovation.

“Snohomish County and Washington state are incredibly well positioned to build on existing relationships and find new opportunities for the aerospace industry,” says Snohomish County Councilmember Strom Peterson, who is also part of the delegation. “As an elected official, I’m proud to be part of the team bringing great jobs, economic development and environmental solutions to our communities.”

EASC’s international outreach is already producing results. In the past year:

  • ZeroAvia expanded operations in the clean aviation sector.
  • Lafarge & Egge secured a manufacturing grant to double their workforce.
  • Echandia, a Swedish clean-tech firm, relocated to Marysville, WA.

Each of these moves reinforces Snohomish County’s place at the intersection of innovation, supply chain resilience, and global industry leadership.

One County, One Voice

At EASC, our role is to advocate, connect and develop the conditions for businesses to thrive. By attending the Paris Air Show, we ensure that Snohomish County has a seat at the table where the future of aerospace is being written.

To our investors, partners and community: thank you for making this work possible. And to global businesses and trade leaders — we’re ready to connect.
