International Delegation Eyes Snohomish County for Investment and Jobs

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Delegates From Seven Countries Tour Snohomish County Economic Hubs May 9
EVERETT, Wash., May 7, 2025 — A delegation of international companies will tour Snohomish County this Friday, Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) announced today. The tour is part of the SelectUSA Seattle Spinoff, a three-day regional initiative driven by Greater Seattle Partners and designed to attract global business investment to the Seattle region. Delegates will also visit King and Pierce counties.
"The SelectUSA Seattle Spinoff is Greater Seattle Partners' signature program, and we are thrilled to be running it for the third consecutive year,” says Brian Surratt, Greater Seattle Partners President & CEO. “This initiative showcases the diverse industries that define our region, including aerospace and manufacturing, cleantech, investment and consulting, IT and software, life sciences, and maritime. We look forward to welcoming international delegates and demonstrating why the Seattle region is a prime destination for global business investment."
Twenty-seven delegates holding executive roles from 22 international companies, from seven countries will visit several of the county’s key economic hubs. Stops on the on the day include Echandia, located at the Cascade Industrial Center in Marysville, the Port of Everett, and Boeing.
In between tours, the delegation will attend a site selection panel moderated by Snohomish County Executive Dave Somers at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett. The delegation will wrap up an action-packed day in Bothell.
“This delegation represents potential job creation and capital investment infusion to Snohomish County,” says Ray Stephanson, EASC President and CEO. “Attracting even one company will bring quality jobs to our residents and raise our county’s profile.”
The delegation’s visit is made possible through partnerships with the City of Bothell, North Sound Media, Herald Media, the Tulalip Tribes, the Port of Everett, Welcome Magazine and Angel of the Winds Arena. The tour will take place all day Friday, May 9.
