Everett, Wash., Oct. 10, 2024 — Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) has launched a search for a new chief executive officer to spearhead its mission of fostering a globally competitive economy in Snohomish County.

Since 2011, EASC has been the unified voice for the county's diverse business community, working to bolster regional business and deep community connections. EASC is the nexus between economic growth, workforce development and policy advocacy, ensuring Snohomish County's vibrant future through collaborative, locally rooted economic leadership. 

EASC seeks a leader with deep roots in the Puget Sound area to drive initiatives in economic development, legislative advocacy and community engagement. "We're looking for a visionary who can strengthen our regional representation and deepen our community connections," said EASC Board Chair Doug Purcell. "The ideal candidate will unite businesses, government, and stakeholders under a shared vision for growth." 

The new CEO will lead efforts in: 

  • Legislative advocacy at local, state, and federal levels
  • Business retention and expansion
  • Workforce development 

Key qualifications for candidates include: 

  • Proven expertise in regional economic development
  • Strong legislative advocacy experience 
  • Deep understanding of the Puget Sound economic landscape 
  • Passion for community engagement and local business support 

The new CEO must understand the local landscape and build lasting relationships supporting businesses and communities alike.

Interviews will be conducted from Nov. 11 – 22, with an anticipated start before the end of 2024. EASC encourages applications from diverse backgrounds.
