Everett, Wash., April 22, 2026 — Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) will lead a delegation of business, government, and community leaders to Washington, D.C. May 5–7, 2026, as part of its annual D.C. Fly-In, a coordinated federal advocacy effort to advance priorities critical to the region’s economic vitality.
Each year, EASC convenes a unified delegation to engage directly with members of Congress, federal agencies, and key decision-makers. The Fly-In provides an opportunity to elevate Snohomish County’s role as a national hub for aerospace, advanced manufacturing, maritime, and innovation-driven industries.
“This trip ensures Snohomish County has a strong, coordinated voice in Washington, D.C.,” says Ray Stephanson, President and CEO of EASC. “It’s critical that federal leaders hear directly from the businesses and communities driving our economy, especially as we compete for investment, workforce, and infrastructure resources.”
The 2026 delegation includes leaders from across the public and private sectors and will focus on key issues including energy reliability and permitting reform, transportation infrastructure and freight mobility, workforce development, and federal investments that support economic growth and competitiveness.
Over the course of the three-day program, delegation members will participate in meetings with Washington’s congressional delegation and federal agencies, as well as panel discussions featuring policy experts and staff. The agenda also includes networking opportunities designed to strengthen relationships and align advocacy efforts across the region.
The D.C. Fly-In is presented by The Boeing Company, with additional support from the Tulalip Tribes and Desimone Consulting Group.
EASC serves as Snohomish County’s state-designated Associate Development Organization (ADO), working to strengthen the business climate, support economic development, and advocate for policies that drive long-term growth.
