December 1 marked my first year as President & CEO of Economic Alliance Snohomish County, and it has been a remarkable year both personally and professionally.

Having been born and raised in Everett, the opportunity to help strengthen the business climate and enhance the quality of life for Snohomish County residents has been an incredible honor. Every day, my team and I work hard to help businesses grow and prosper. We focus on removing barriers that companies face, preparing workers for the jobs of the future, and supporting our cities, ports, and the County as they deliver the essential services our communities deserve.

Make no mistake—there are challenges ahead, and meeting them will require all of us. We must maintain safe communities, address the housing crisis, support existing employers, and attract new companies to Snohomish County. We must ensure that our children and grandchildren have access to the careers of the future and the opportunities they deserve.

As the Alliance enters 2026, we are both optimistic and energized about what lies ahead. I want to extend my sincere thanks to Doug Purcell, our EASC Board Chair, along with the Executive Board, Finance Committee, Board of Trustees, our talented staff, and our many investors for their continued support. This team of dedicated professionals works every day to strengthen our region and improve our shared quality of life.

I invite you to join us at our annual events throughout 2026 to learn how you can be part of this important work. Thank you again for your ongoing support and encouragement.

Onward and upward as we shape our future—together.
