Have you considered pursuing government contracts with the State of Washington but don’t know how to start?

Washington APEX Accelerator at Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) is helping business owners in Snohomish, Skagit, Island, San Juan and Whatcom counties take action. Often referred to as one of the best kept secrets for government contracting assistance – unintentionally of course – the Washington APEX

Accelerator has been assisting businesses for nearly 40 years.

"As a small business owner in Snohomish County, I had no idea there were resources to help me navigate government contracts and subcontracts. The training, one-on-one technical assistance, and access to government databases have been incredibly beneficial for my business,” said James Olive of JI Solutions Services.

Find Help Registering in WEBS, Washington State’s Vendor Portal

Washington State, local government agencies, tribal governments, and a network of nonprofit organizations purchase roughly $2.1 billion in goods and services from a variety of businesses every year managed through the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES), which awarded 180 contracts to over 1,500 companies last year, many of them small businesses.

To be notified of opportunities to bid with the state, a business must first be registered in the correct databases and active in the Washington Electronic Business Solution or WEBS, Washington State’s Vendor profile. WEBS registration is required to sell to the state and is a vital way to learn about contracting opportunities posted by various government agencies.

APEX Accelerator takes the guesswork out of registering! To get started, simply reach out to our team at EASC and take advantage of APEX Accelerator’s no-cost advising services.
