The event will benefit the Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce and businesses impacted by the Bolt Creek Fire

Everett, WA., October 24, 2022Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) has partnered with local chambers of commerce to host a fundraising event to benefit the Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce and the businesses that have been impacted by the devastating Bolt Creek Fire.

The event will be held on Thursday, November 10, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Angel of the Winds Arena Lounge, 2000 Hewitt Ave., in Everett, WA.

Event tickets are $65, general admission, and $50 for EASC members, and include hors d'oeuvres and entry to win raffle prizes donated by local partners. This event is open to all ages and will have a cash bar for those aged 21 and over. Tickets are on sale now through November 9.

“We invite everyone to join us for this wonderful event, which will benefit an important and much-needed initiative to assist local businesses who have been so adversely affected by the wildfires,” said Garry Clark, EASC CEO. “For those who are unable to attend, please consider donating to help keep our local economy vibrant.”

“Due to the Bolt Creek Fire, causing smoke, evacuations, closed outdoor areas, and periodic closure of the US 2 highway to remove the trees and other debris caused by the fire has inhibited travel to the Sky Valley" said Debbie Copple, Director of Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce. "This has had a significant impact on local businesses, as people cannot or choose not travel our highway to recreate or visit local stores and restaurants. We are so grateful for the support from EASC and the local community. All money raised at this fundraiser will be disbursed directly to the businesses that have been directly impacted by the fire."

“Economic Alliance Snohomish County is excited for the opportunity to rally the different parts of the county together for this fundraiser in support of the Sky Valley community, which has been through so much since the fires first started in September,” said Brian Doyle, Director of Investor Relations for EASC and organizer of this event.

Tickets to the Sky Valley Fundraiser can be purchased here.
