Description

Naval Station Everett: Driving Economic Impact and Community Strength

Join us on Thursday, October 15 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the 2026 State of the Station, presented by the Port of Everett. This annual event is a must-attend occasion, providing a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the vital work happening at Naval Station Everett (NSE).

As one of Snohomish County’s top employers, Naval Station Everett plays a significant role in the local economy and community. The Navy Region’s most recent economic assessment of NSE estimated the annual economic impact of the military presence in Snohomish County at $340 million, underscoring the station’s importance to the region.

During her State of the Station address, Captain Stacy Wuthier, commanding officer of NSE, will provide an annual update and an inside look at the station’s priorities, ongoing projects, role in national defense, and impact on the surrounding community. Attendees will hear about recent accomplishments, current initiatives, and what lies ahead for Naval Station Everett.

The 2026 State of the Station offers community leaders, business professionals, and residents an opportunity to better understand the station’s work while strengthening the connection between Naval Station Everett and the broader Snohomish County community.

This event is open to the public, and all who are interested in the future of Snohomish County and Naval Station Everett are encouraged to attend. Join fellow community members, regional leaders, and partners for this important annual conversation.
