Description

Part of Economic Alliance Snohomish County's monthly Coffee Chats series, bringing you updates on relevant topics over your morning coffee.

Join Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) for Investing in Community: The Economic Role of Nonprofits, part of our Coffee Chats series, presented by Herald Media, on Tuesday, November 10 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. via Zoom.

Nonprofit organizations play a critical role in the local economy, serving as employers, service providers, and long-term community investors. Join us for a timely conversation exploring how nonprofits contribute to economic stability by strengthening workforce pipelines, addressing community needs, and partnering with businesses and public agencies to support regional resilience.

This session will position EASC as a neutral convener bringing together nonprofit leaders, employers, and community partners to better understand the economic contributions of the nonprofit sector. Rather than centering on philanthropy alone, the discussion will focus on how nonprofits create shared value for communities and businesses alike through collaboration, service delivery, and strategic partnerships.

Panelist announcements coming soon!

Through this conversation, attendees will gain insight into how cross-sector collaboration and community investment can strengthen local economies, support workforce and social infrastructure, and create long-term regional impact. The discussion will also highlight the important role nonprofit-business partnerships play in building resilient, connected communities.

This session is ideal for nonprofit leaders, employers, business and civic leaders, workforce and education partners, community organizations, and public sector stakeholders interested in understanding how nonprofits contribute to economic development and regional vitality.
