Description

Part of Economic Alliance Snohomish County's monthly Coffee Chats series, bringing you updates on relevant topics over your morning coffee.

Join Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) for Workforce Reality Check: Challenges, Solutions, and What’s Next, part of our Coffee Chats series, presented by the Port of Everett, on Tuesday, September 15 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. via Zoom.

Workforce challenges continue to affect employers across nearly every sector, from hiring and retention to skills alignment and changing employee expectations. Join us for a timely conversation exploring the realities businesses and workforce partners are navigating today, and the strategies emerging to support long-term talent development and economic resilience.

This session will provide a grounded, solutions-oriented look at the current workforce landscape, positioning EASC as a connector across business, education, and workforce systems. Rather than focusing on one-size-fits-all approaches, the discussion will highlight practical examples, regional partnerships, and adaptive strategies that help employers attract, develop, and retain talent in a rapidly evolving labor market.

Panelist announcements coming soon!

Through this conversation, attendees will gain insight into the challenges and opportunities shaping the regional workforce, as well as how collaboration between employers, educators, and workforce organizations can strengthen talent pipelines and support economic competitiveness across Snohomish County and the broader region.

This session is ideal for employers, HR professionals, workforce and education partners, industry leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders interested in understanding workforce trends and identifying collaborative solutions for the future of work.

Free to attend | Registration required to receive Zoom link
