Description
Flight Patterns: The Art and Motion of Winged Life explores the elegance, energy, and symbolism of winged life in motion. Featuring more than 45 works by 27 artists, the exhibit brings together diverse interpretations of birds, butterflies, and other winged forms as they lift, glide, migrate, and transform. Spanning a wide range of mediums, including glass mosaic, charcoal, watercolor, pen and ink, stainless steel, photography, wood, and more, the collection captures both literal and abstract expressions of movement. Each piece invites viewers to slow down and notice the rhythms, patterns, and fleeting moments that define flight in the natural world. Together, the works reflect themes of freedom, resilience, transition, and connection, offering a thoughtful and visually engaging experience for visitors of all backgrounds. Flight Patterns celebrates not only the beauty of winged life, but also the shared human response to motion, transformation, and the instinct to rise.
