About Jesse Salomon

Elected to the Washington State Senate in 2018, Sen. Jesse Salomon has demonstrated leadership, energy and compassion as he represents Washington’s 32nd Legislative District, which includes Shoreline, Woodway, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace and Northwest Seattle.

Through his advocacy and legislative work, Jesse has become known as a champion for the environment, youth and children, and justice system reform. In the 2021 session, he sponsored bills on police accountability, boosting the salmon and orca populations, fighting the automation of family wage jobs, supporting essential workers to get personal protection equipment, creating an innovative wilderness therapy program for people with behavioral health needs, and making sure people don’t lose their driver’s license because of inability to pay fines.

Jesse serves on three Senate committees. He is the Vice Chair of the Agriculture, Water, Natural Resources & Parks Committee and also serves on the Law & Justice and Housing & Local Government committees.

About Lauren Davis

Lauren Davis represents the 32nd Legislative District in the Washington State House of Representatives, which includes Shoreline, Lynnwood, northwest Seattle, south Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace and Woodway. She was the founding Executive Director and is the current Strategy Director of the Washington Recovery Alliance. The WRA is a grassroots movement of individuals and families impacted by addiction and mental health challenges driving large-scale change in public policy and public understanding.

Prior to serving in public office, Lauren led efforts to pass 2016’s Ricky’s Law, named after her best friend, which created an unprecedented crisis treatment system for youth and adults with life-threatening addiction. She received her bachelor’s degree in Ethnic Studies from Brown University and began her career teaching Head Start preschool at a transitional housing facility.

She then spent several years researching education access as a Fulbright Scholar in Ghana, West Africa. While there, Lauren started a small textile business that provides job training for adolescent girls and sustainable revenue for a Ghanaian-run educational NGO. Upon her return to the US, Lauren worked as an international development consultant for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She then helped to launch Forefront, a suicide prevention nonprofit, where she directed school-based mental health programs. She has also taught mental health policy in the Masters program at the UW School of Social Work.

In the legislature, Lauren’s work centers on behavioral health treatment and recovery and criminal legal system reform.

About Keith Goehner

Faith, family, and friends bring satisfaction and fulfillment in Keith’s life.

Keith and his wife, Lisa, have called the Wenatchee Valley home nearly all their lives and raised their 3 children on the family pear orchard in Dryden.

Growing up in Dryden, farming was not the intended career choice as Keith’s love for education and working with children was a driving force as he pursued a degree at Seattle Pacific University. After teaching in Moses Lake, the lure of the orchard, family and the beauty of the Valley brought Keith and Lisa back to Dryden.

Community service and involvement are a reflection of Keith’s pursuits as he has served in leadership positions of his church, fruit industry organizations, local and State Republican Party, Chelan County Commission, and numerous other community organizations.

Keith is committed to doing all he can to improve the lives of those locally, the State and country. His principles of protecting basic rights and our natural resources, reaching out to the vulnerable members of society, and enhancing economic opportunities, will continue to be evident in the legislation he proposes and supports.
