Join Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) for our 2025 Legislative Kickoff, an annual event that brings together business leaders and elected officials to advocate for policies that support the success of Snohomish County’s economy. As the largest business advocacy organization in the region, EASC represents the diverse needs of our local industries in Olympia.
Presented by Boeing, in partnership with Herald Media, North Sound Media and Washington State University Everett, this event provides an essential platform for the business community to engage directly with legislators before the legislative session begins. We will discuss critical issues impacting Snohomish County, such as workforce development, infrastructure, business regulations, and emerging economic opportunities.
This is your chance to connect with policymakers, share your perspective, and ensure that Snohomish County's economic priorities are heard. Don’t miss the opportunity to shape the legislative agenda for the future of our region.

Senator Marko Liias (D – 21st District)
Senator Marko Liias represents Washington’s 21st Legislative District, which includes the communities of Edmonds, Everett, Lynnwood and Mukilteo.
A lifelong Washingtonian, he was born and raised in the neighborhoods he now serves. He began his legislative career in the State House in 2008, was appointed to the State Senate in 2014 and is currently serving his third term.
Senator Liias chairs the Senate Transportation Committee and is known for his work on major transportation investment, digital-safety and media-literacy education, environmental policy, and equity issues.
Representative Carolyn Eslick (R – 39th District, Position 2)
Representative Carolyn Eslick represents the 39th Legislative District in the Washington State House.
She previously served as mayor of Sultan, Washington, becoming the first woman to hold that office.
Her legislative priorities include child care, early learning, mental-health services and community and economic development.
Representative April Berg (D – 44th District)
Representative April Berg serves Washington’s 44th Legislative District, which includes parts of Snohomish and King counties.
She is the first Black woman to represent the 44th District and has deep roots in Snohomish County, where her family has lived for over two decades.
Her work focuses on advancing equity, youth and higher-education access, and policies that connect communities with opportunity.
Representative Sam Low (R – 39th District, Position 1)
Representative Sam Low serves Washington’s 39th Legislative District in the House of Representatives.
Born and raised in Snohomish County, he graduated from Everett High School and holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership.
Prior to the legislature, he was a small-business owner, teacher, coach and instructor, and served local government on the Lake Stevens City Council.
