Calling all Entrepreneurs, Inventors, Artists and Business Owners looking to learn more about how to integrate Innovation into your business or ideas through Design Thinking processes and discover the local resources in the community to help.

The NW Innovation Resource Center is partnering with Made in Lynnwood Meetup and The Facility at Edmonds community college for a presentation on Design Thinking for Innovative Businesses and the resources available to help you start and grow your business, product or idea.

Local entrepreneur, inventor, and Program Manager for the NWIRC, Lara Merriam-Smith, will share insights into how design thinking processes can help aspiring inventors and entrepreneurs bring innovation to every aspect of their start-up business or product.

David Voetmann, the Facility at Edmonds Community College Director will give a tour of this community maker space that provides a collaborative environment where ordinary people with extraordinary ideas can come together and gain access to the tools, training, and community they need to turn thoughts into things.
