Procurement Technical Assistance Center
As part of the Washington State PTAC, our office provides government contracting support for small businesses in Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, and Island counties. The Department of Defense supports this resource, with major funding provided by Economic Alliance Snohomish County. The objective of PTAC is to help businesses successfully compete in federal, state and local government contracting. Services include: training and workshops, one-on-one counseling, assistance with registrations, certifications and marketing, interpretations of solicitations, specifications, standards and drawings, and computerized Bid Match service.
Small Business Development Center
SBDC offers free professional business advising and technical assistance in all areas of business management, served locally through the EASC office. Services include reviewing your business plan, analyzing your financial statements, suggesting cost cutting strategies and exploring new markets. Small Business Transportation Resource Center
The objective of the Small Business Transportation Resource Center (SBTRC) is to increase the number of small and disadvantaged businesses that are prepared to compete for, and enter into, transportation-related prime and subcontract. The Northwest SBTRC is funded by a cooperative agreement with Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) and U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU).
