Economic Alliance Snohomish County is
committed to an economic model that suggest a vibrant, regional economy is dependent
on an educated and skilled workforce, and effective and efficient multimodal
transportation and utilities infrastructure, and a competitive business
environment to support key regional industries, innovation start-ups and
entrepreneurs.
Individually, these three initiatives create and support short-term jobs. However, when integrated they function as an economic ecosystem spurring innovation, sustaining vibrant communities and supporting businesses of all shapes and sizes which create jobs for tomorrow. WORKFORCE
+ INFRASTRUCTURE + BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT = JOBS
The goal of our advocacy work is to provide the resources and policy environment necessary to support these three goals. Drawing on the knowledge of our Trustees, Industry & Resource Development Board, Community Affairs & Small Business Development Board and other experts, the Advocacy Board meets quarterly to review strategy and discuss actions necessary to achieve these goals.
